Screen Print Collaboration with Damn Fine Print

I have collaborated with the Damn Fine Print screen printing studio on three limited edition screen prints which were printed in Stoneybatter by Liam Gough. Each measures 500 x 500mm on Somerset velvet paper and in an edition of 30.

Crisscross (top) and Crossover (middle) are printed using two colours (white and grey) and repeat the same set of hand drawn elements in two different configurations. To make this print, the original artwork containing three forms was hand painted to exact size. This was then scanned and printed on a transparent film then transferred to a screen coated with a light-sensitive material. The same screen was used twice to create both prints.

The third print Arches uses 3 tones and a more precise, digitally drawn geometry giving a crisper, bolder line.

The prints were featured in the Irish Examiner and can been purchased online from Damn Fine Print or in person at their shop in Stoneybatter, Dublin 7.
